In order to succeed in a tough and competitive market, you have to rely on processes and methodologies designed for optimum sales effectiveness. Therefore, a sales process needs to be defined and implemented so that sales reps can perform at consistent and effective levels, thus increasing their success. This course will discuss what a sales process should look like and how to develop one. A sales process defines the methodologies for the steps needed to be taken, in the right order, to move the process along the sales path toward a purchase. This course will define such a methodology as well as techniques for qualifying a prospect, listening to the prospect’s needs, analyzing alternatives, presenting the appropriate solutions and other selling skills, as well as where they fit within the sales process.
